Crown and Bridge

A crown is the equivalent of a cap that covers the entire tooth. We make crowns when teeth have been damaged by either a large area of decay, large fillings, or when it had a root canal. It is used to reinforce the tooth and protect it from infiltration and is custom made for each individual tooth. The result looks just like a natural tooth thanks to recent advances in the technology of today’s highest quality materials.

A bridge is used to replace missing teeth utilizing the same concept of a crown. The missing tooth (or teeth) becomes a crown that is connected to 2 adjacent crowns that we also call abutments. A bridge is held in with permanent glue and cannot be removed.
